Summary
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Abatement Supervisor to oversee hazardous material removal projects. You will lead crews on-site, enforce safety protocols, and ensure each job is completed safely, efficiently, and according to standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise abatement crews on job sites (asbestos, lead, mould removal).
- Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental regulations.
- Remove hazardous materials from ceilings, walls, beams, boilers, etc.
- Prepare work areas and prevent contamination spread.
- Coordinate with Project Manager/Estimator to clarify project scope and needs.
- Maintain secure, clean job sites on multi-day projects.
- Perform final cleanup and ensure site is returned to original condition.
Requirements
- 253S Asbestos Training
- Abatement experience (asbestos, lead, mould)
- Valid Class “G” driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Ability to obtain federal/government security clearance
- Comfortable working at heights
- Clear criminal background check
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Team player
