Job Summary
The Logistics Dispatcher will play a key role in coordinating daily transportation and service activities for demolition projects and customer accounts. The position will work closely with drivers, project managers, customers and subcontractors to ensure efficient scheduling and execution of services. The ideal candidate will have previous dispatch experience in industries involving roll-off trucks, float moves, equipment transportation, construction/demolition and waste management fields.
Duties
- Schedule and dispatch drivers for demolition projects throughout Southern Ontario
- Communicating with PM's regarding project schedules, equipment needs and site requirements.
- Coordinate roll-off truck services, including delivery , exchanges and removal of bins.
- Arrange float moves for heavy equipment to and from job sites.
- Coordinate end dump and dump truck services for material hauling.
- Manage scrap bin service requests and coordinate pickups and deliveries for customers, providing exceptional customer service.
- Monitor driver schedules and adjust dispatch plans as needed to accommodate project demands.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records, job tracking and transportation documentation.
- Administrative duties including data entry, filing & document management, job tracking and reporting, customer follow up calls.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience-dispatch/roll off services and construction and equipment moves. Logistics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office-Excel, Word, Outlook, strong computer skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Multitasking.
- Ability to prioritize and adapt to a fast paced environment.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
