We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Holistic Nutrition Instructor to join our team and contribute to the delivery of our Holistic Nutrition Certificate Program.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and supporting students through engaging, practical, and interactive learning experiences. This role involves delivering course content, evaluating student progress, providing mentorship, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the program.
The ideal instructor will have strong knowledge of holistic nutrition practices, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping students develop their professional abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons covering holistic nutrition concepts, wellness strategies, dietary approaches, lifestyle practices, and related topics.
- Facilitate learning through a variety of teaching methods, including presentations, discussions, activities, and practical exercises.
- Prepare and update course materials in alignment with program objectives and industry expectations.
- Evaluate student learning through assignments, assessments, projects, and practical demonstrations.
- Provide constructive feedback, academic guidance, and mentorship to support student success.
- Encourage an inclusive, respectful, and engaging classroom environment.
- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, evaluations, and progress reports.
- Stay current with developments in nutrition, holistic health, wellness practices, and educational approaches.
- Collaborate with faculty members and administrative teams to enhance program delivery and student experience.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Nutrition, Holistic Nutrition, Dietetics, Health Sciences, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree is considered an asset.
- Certification in Holistic Nutrition or a related wellness discipline is highly preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in holistic nutrition, wellness, or a related field.
- Previous teaching, training, coaching, or mentoring experience is required.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
