Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in the food preparation process, ensuring that meals are prepared efficiently and in accordance with food safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including grills, fryers, ovens, and other cooking appliances.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Adhere to proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices for handling ingredients.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $16.70-$19.91 per hour
