Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our Kitchen team for the seasonal period. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment, takes pride in maintaining cleanliness and organization, and is committed to supporting an efficient kitchen operation.We are looking for a team oriented individual who can work independently, follow established procedures, and contribute to a positive and professional workplace. As a successful candidate, you can manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and organization.Experience in a commercial kitchen, food service environment, or private club setting is considered an asset. However, individuals with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.As the ideal candidate, you are punctual, reliable, physically capable of performing demanding tasks, and committed to providing exceptional support to the culinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Properly clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dishwashing area, kitchen workspaces, storage areas, and food preparation areas
- Remove garbage, recycling, and waste materials while ensuring proper disposal procedures are followed
- Put away deliveries, rotate stock appropriately, and assist with organizing storage areas Sweep, scrub, and maintain kitchen floors and work areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment
- Monitor dishwashing and cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when supplies require replenishment Assist cooks and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as required
- Support banquet functions, special events, and daily kitchen operations
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, and safety policies and procedures
- Deliver professional, courteous, and friendly service to members, guests, and fellow team members
Work Environment
This position operates in a fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to hot water, steam, kitchen equipment, cleaning chemicals, and varying temperatures. Candidates must be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting, bending, kneeling, and carrying supplies throughout the shift.
