As part of the kitchen team, your primary responsibility is to complete food orders in a timely and efficient manner. You must be able to follow Ajisen’s standardized processes to ensure high food quality and consistency.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare all served food by following recipes and presentation specifications
- Food prep as needed
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain kitchen/station in practicing good safety and sanitation, including daily cleaning of cooking equipment.
- Operate an industrial dishwasher when necessary
Requirements
Experience
- Prior experience making ramen a plus.
Skills and Qualifications
- Food handler or equivalent certifications is a plus
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player
Physical Demands
- Ability to work long shifts (8, 10 or 12 hours) that include standing, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold)
- Be able to lift items up-to 40 lbs
