Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Repair Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets across various operating systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in hardware and software troubleshooting, with a focus on Android and iOS devices. The technician will work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional service to customers while utilizing their knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and schematics. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, including hardware replacements and software troubleshooting.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to identify issues with device components.
- Use hand tools effectively for disassembly and reassembly of mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot operating system issues on Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows platforms.
- Perform analysis of device problems to determine root causes and appropriate solutions.
- Assist customers with device setup, software updates, and basic troubleshooting procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each device.
- Keep work area organized and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
Requirements
- Proven experience repairing mobile devices with knowledge of Android and iOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and operating systems such as macOS and Windows.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Proficiency with hand tools used in electronics repair.
- Strong analysis skills to diagnose problems accurately and efficiently.
- Experience with retail sales environments is a plus, providing excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Prior experience working with mobile devices, software troubleshooting, or related fields is preferred.
