Job Summary
Advanced Marine & Powersports is growing and looking for a mechanic to join our team . Specifically, we are seeking a qualified Individual who is experienced, efficient, and reliable. $30-38 an hour to start. Pay will be based on experience, knowledge and drive. We also offer a benefit package.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues in equipment and machinery.
- Inspect, diagnose, maintain & repair all aspects of vessels and powersports
- Winterize/Spring Commission engines, boat system & accessories
- Rig and PDI boats, powersports and tractors
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
- Highly motivated, punctual, well organized, attention to detail & a disciplined approach to work
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
- Must be able to take a job from start to finish and work independently
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in repair and maintenance.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in mechanics or related fields are a plus.
