Overview
Trust Contracting Company Inc. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee Interior Hotel Renovation Projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in construction management, and a comprehensive understanding of project planning and execution. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead diverse projects, coordinate teams, and ensure successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget parameters.
Duties
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, clients, and vendors to facilitate smooth communication and project flow.
- Utilize tools like AutoCAD for document management and design review
- Conduct quantity take-off to determine project costs and resource requirements.
- Monitor project progress regularly, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Travel to sites and stay overnight (accommodation will be provided).
Requirements
- Proven minimum experience of 5 years in project management within the construction industry
- Must possess a valid, fully licensed Ontario Class G driver's license in good standing.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of drawing-reading, schematics, and quantity take-off techniques.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on safety, quality control, and client satisfaction.
