Duties

- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining consistency in quality.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
- Ensure all food items are stored, handled, and prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Sanitize work areas and equipment regularly to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
- Provide support in other areas of the café as required, including cleaning tables and restocking supplies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and basic food handling skills is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others as part of a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
