What we are hiring for:
We are currently hiring a contract full-time Direct Support Professional for our Community Connections program in Lambton County, Ontario.
Direct Support Professionals make a difference in people's lives by:

Providing support to people with developmental disabilities in their homes and the community

Teaching and assisting with daily supports (ex. assistance with meal preparation, personal hygiene, medication administration, appointments, housekeeping responsibilities and money management)

Facilitating opportunities for individual skill development, independence, personal growth, cultivating relationships in their community and leisure activities as directed by the person
What you will need:

Valid "G or G2" class license and reliable vehicle

Be willing to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check

Be legally entitled to work in Canada

Current certification in First Aid/CPR required

Current certification in NVCPI or willing to obtain

Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is an asset
Compensation and scheduling:

$23.59 - $24.28 per hour based on experience

Contract Full-Time - 40 hours per week
