Thermal Media Inc. is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Technical Production Specialist to join our team.
The primary responsibility of this role is operating industrial label printers to produce custom printed labels for customers. The position will also assist our technical department with troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing printers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial label printers and produce labels according to customer specifications.
- Set up print jobs, load materials and ribbons, and inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot printer issues and perform basic repairs and maintenance.
- Use hand tools to replace components and resolve mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
What We're Looking For:
- Highly detail-oriented and quality-focused.
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with computers and learning new equipment.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
- Previous experience with printers, electronics, mechanical equipment, or production is an asset but not required.
