Job Overview
We are seeking 2 dedicated and compassionate Family Physicians to join our healthcare team.
With two Family Physicians, we can join the new and enhanced model: FHO+.
FHO+ is a modernized compensation model for Family Health Organizations (FHO) in Ontario, designed to better reflect the realities of modern primary care. It pays family doctors an hourly rate for administrative, indirect, and direct care work, alongside increases to shadow-billing, after-hours premiums, and patient attachment bonuses

- Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments to diagnose various health conditions across all age groups.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication administration and follow-up care.
- Manage acute care cases, providing immediate treatment for urgent health issues.
- Perform procedures related to pain management and minor medical interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient encounters accurately using electronic medical records such as Epic and Cerner systems.
- Collect and analyze patient data to monitor health trends and improve treatment outcomes.
- Educate patients on preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and chronic disease management.
- Participate in research initiatives to stay current with medical advancements and improve clinical practices.
- Provide pediatric care, including immunizations, growth monitoring, and developmental assessments.
- Support home care services by coordinating follow-up visits and ensuring continuity of care outside the clinical setting.
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure as a Family Physician.
- Proven experience in hospital settings or outpatient clinics, with a strong background in patient care.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and data collection methods.
- Experience in acute care, pain management, pediatrics, and home care is preferred.
- Ability to perform procedures related to primary care efficiently and safely.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $190,251.78-$250,000.00 per year
