Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our team. Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans
- Operate dishwashing machines
- Sanitize all kitchen items properly
- Dry and store clean dishes
- Keep dishwashing area clean and organized
- Clean floors, walls, and kitchen equipment
- Take out garbage and recycling
- Restock kitchen supplies (plates, cutlery, etc.)
- Assist with basic food prep (if required)
- Follow health and safety regulations
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely
- Report equipment issues or malfunctions
- Work efficiently during busy hours
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Good physical stamina (standing for long periods, lifting heavy items)
- Basic understanding of cleanliness and hygiene
- Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Time management and ability to stay organized
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to handle hot water, chemicals, and kitchen equipment safely
- Reliability and punctuality
