The Building Superintendent is an onsite role at an apartment building in Niagara Falls. The Superintendent will be provided with a rental unit at a discounted rate and will be required to assist with cleaning, repairs, showings, etc.. while building lasting relationship with the residents.
The job responsibilities include:
- Managing safety (e.g., repairing locks, managing security system, addressing tenant concerns)
- Maintaining cleanliness of property (Cleaning carpet, tiles, utilities with commercial tools)
- Landscaping property (specialized equipment provided)
- Managing relations with tenants
- Document control (Rent payments, rental applications, correspondence, receipts, etc..)
- Completing maintenance requests (e.g., replacing electrical receptacles, replacing plumbing fixtures, painting, etc.)
- Skilled labour when required (painting, drywall repair, item relocations)
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communicator
- Self driven and able to work with minimal supervision
- Handyman (Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical) and able to lift 40 lbs
- Dedicated to keeping building in optimal condition for tenants
- Punctual and able to manage their time effectively
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $34,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
