Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and requirements for cabinet construction
- Cut, shape, and assemble wood materials to build cabinets according to design plans
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to complete tasks at hand
- Lead and train other apprentices/helpers to perform under you
- Have the know how and can be left alone to get the project done in a timely matter
- Perform quality checks to ensure cabinets meet industry standards and client expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings
- Knowledge of different types of wood materials and their characteristics
- Strong woodworking skills and ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery
- Familiarity with cabinet installation techniques and industry best practices
- Attention to detail and precision in measurements and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines
