Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Accounting Administrator specializing in Accounts Receivable and Reception duties. This role offers a dynamic environment where you will manage financial transactions, support client interactions, and ensure smooth office operations. Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment processing, and account analysis using accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage
- Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Maintain meticulous data entry records for all financial transactions and client information
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and courtesy
- Oversee reception duties, including greeting visitors, answering calls, and directing them appropriately while maintaining excellent phone etiquette
- Assist with accounts payable tasks, verifying invoices, and supporting vendor payments
- Support bookkeeping activities by recording financial data accurately and preparing reports for management review
Requirements
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and account reconciliation processes
- Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and perform account analysis effectively
- Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette
- Basic math skills necessary for financial calculations and analysis
- Familiarity with accounting principles and bookkeeping practices in a real estate or financial services environment is preferred
