Job Overview
Weather Seal Windows is currently seeking a full-time Vinyl Window Assembler with experience in building SHAPES to join our growing team. This hands-on role is responsible for measuring, cutting, bending and assembling, high-quality Vinyl SHAPED window while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, previous Shape manufacturing experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, and will work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment. What You’ll Do
- Cut vinyl frames and bend shapes (Frames) in a custom oven to match templates
- Cut vinyl brickmoulds and bend to match frame / shape.
- Cut vinyl or wood jambs to match shape contour and fasten to frame.
- Perform heat welding and other fabrication tasks to secure window components
- Operate an oven used to heat vinyl parts for bending
- Assemble window shapes frames, sashes, and components according to specifications
- Operate manufacturing equipment, saws, cutting stations, and assembly tools and vinyl heating oven.
- Read and follow production orders, drawings, and work instructions
- Measure and verify product dimensions for accuracy
- Inspect products for quality and workmanship throughout the production process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
- Assist with material handling and inventory movement as required
What You'll Bring
- Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, construction, or fabrication experience with Shapes
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools and oven
- Ability to work with a bending template machine
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
- Reliable, dependable, and safety-focused
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
