We are currently looking for an experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. This role is best suited for someone with a strong service work background who can work independently while collaborating with a team, communicates professionally with customers, contributes to a supportive team environment, and completes jobs with minimal training.
Position Overview
The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for completing residential and commercial service work, troubleshooting electrical issues, performing repairs and installations, and representing Springbank Electrical Services professionally on job sites.
The ideal candidate is experienced, reliable, organized, and confident working independently and collaboratively. A company vehicle will be provided by Springbank Electrical Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete residential and commercial electrical service work
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install electrical systems and components
- Perform electrical upgrades, maintenance
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
- Review job details and complete work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Follow electrical code, company standards, and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate job notes, work orders, and required documentation
- Keep the company vehicle, tools, and work areas clean and organized
- Represent Springbank Electrical Services in a professional and customer-focused manner
Required Qualifications
- Certified Journeyperson Electrician
- 7+ years of electrical experience preferred
- Strong background in service work
- Must currently live in or near Calgary, Alberta
- Clean driving abstract
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to work independently with minimal training
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
Preferred Certifications
The following certifications are preferred:
- CSTS
- WHMIS
- Fall Arrest
- Scissor Lift
- Standard First Aid
- Class 5 Driver’s License
