About Station 10 Thrift Store
Station 10 Thrift Store is a locally operated thrift store in Kamloops with a strong focus on giving back to our local and global communities.
We believe a thrift store can do more than sell affordable second-hand goods. Our goal is to make a positive difference by supporting people and organizations both here at home and around the world.
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Cashier who wants to be part of a team where the work we do has a larger purpose.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
- Operate the cash register and point-of-sale system
- Process cash, debit, credit, gift card and store-credit transactions
- Process returns according to store procedures
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized
- Answer customer questions and provide assistance when needed
- Help keep merchandise and the sales floor organized
- Assist with other general store duties as required
- Help create a welcoming and positive experience for everyone who visits our store

- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Able to accurately handle cash and transactions
- Comfortable using a computer and point-of-sale system
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to learn
- Someone who values community involvement and giving back
- Retail or cashier experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person
Schedule
We are looking for both full-time and part-time applicants.
Applicants should have some flexibility in their availability. Exact hours and schedule will be discussed during the interview.
