Techsense Inc. is a Managed Service Provider that was founded in Toronto in 2004. We are looking for a responsible and hard working contractor to assist with network deployments in the Quebec City, QC.
We are looking for a bilingual French and English Field Technician to join our team as a contractor. The successful candidate will be travelling with their own car to install and upgrade networks for customers.
The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- At least 3+ years of experience in network cabling and low-voltage installation.
- Proficiency in cable pathway and cable management.
- Ability to read and follow floorplans, cable diagrams, and rack layouts.
- Experience with cable testing tools (e.g., Fluke, Klein, or equivalent).
- Familiar with network concepts such as TCP/IP, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Skilled in crimping, punching down, and cable dressing techniques.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between sites as required.
- Certifications such as CCNA considered an asset.
