Wesbell is accepting resumes for Telecom Installers (level 2) to join our team in the complete furnishing, installation, and testing of power and telecom / IT equipment used in telecom, cable, wireless, and enterprise networks.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities Include:
1. Installation of AUX racking, equipment racks, and cabinets
2. Installation of all technology equipment
3. Copper and fiber cable connectorization and placement
4. De-Installation of equipment and cable mining
5. Installation of power-related equipment
6. Installation of various battery types
7. Maintain timesheets and expense reports with rare mistakes and no reminding
8. Any other duties that may be assigned
Education (Theoretical Training)
1. High School, GEGEP, vocational or technical training preferred
2. First Aid / CPR Training
3. Ladder Safety Training
4. Proper Lifting Techniques Training
5. WHMIS Training
6. Transportation of Dangerous Goods Training
Job Requirements & Experience
1. Practical ability and common sense
2. Must be willing to travel and work weekends, and nights if required by the customer
3. Manual dexterity is required and mechanical aptitude an asset
4. DC Power knowledge is a must
5. Microwave installation and testing experience is a must
6. At least 3 years of experiences in the related field
7. Have a basic understanding of electricity and electrical safety
8. Must have a valid drivers license and clean driver's abstract
9. May require the use of a personal vehicle
10. General housekeeping is a must
11. Must be a team player and possess a positive and professional attitude towards work and others
12. Fluent in English written and oral
13. Experience installing and/or commissioning Ericsson or Nokia equipment
