Job Description
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Carpenters / Framers to join our team for upcoming commercial and residential projects in Thunder Bay. This position requires an experienced professional who specializes in structural wood framing, layout, and heavy-duty carpentry.

Key Responsibilities
- Construct, erect, and install robust wood and steel framing systems, layouts, wallboards, and roof/floor trusses.
- Read, interpret, and work directly from blueprints, construction drawings, and structural sketches to determine precise project requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials with high accuracy to minimize waste.
- Handle window, door, and subfloor installations, ensuring all components are square, level, and secure.
- Operate commercial carpentry equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and general labourers to maintain an efficient workflow and meet strict project deadlines.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven, professional experience in structural framing and carpentry (Required).
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with advanced framing techniques, layout math, blueprint reading, and tool safety.
- Tools: Must have your own basic trade tools and tool belt.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and perform strenuous physical labor in outdoor weather conditions.
- Punctuality: Highly dependable with a strict commitment to arriving on site for the 7:00 AM shift start.
