YOUR DAY TO DAY:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to provide critical administrative and operational support across all areas of Human Resources. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of employee data and HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle. Success in this position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong administrative capabilities, and a commitment to delivering accurate, timely, and professional HR support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
As a trusted member of the HR team, you will be responsible for maintaining HR records, coordinating HR programs, supporting recruitment and onboarding activities, administering employee data and benefits transactions, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys process-oriented work, takes pride in data accuracy, and thrives in a highly administrative environment where precision matters.
YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE TO:
- Provide administrative support across a broad range of HR functions, ensuring all documentation, records, and transactions are completed accurately and on time
- Assist with recruitment activities including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, administering candidate assessments, participating in interviews, and conducting reference checks
- Coordinate and facilitate employee onboarding activities, including preparing employment documentation, creating and maintaining employee files, issuing mentor letters, scheduling orientations and required training, and ensuring all onboarding requirements are completed
- Maintain employee records and HR files, ensuring information is accurate, complete, confidential, and audit-ready
- Enter, update, verify, and maintain employee information within the HRIS, benefits systems, and other HR databases with a high degree of accuracy and data integrity
- Administer employee benefits transactions including enrollments, status changes, terminations, and responding to employee inquiries
- Schedule, track, and maintain training records for new hires and existing employees, ensuring training documentation remains current and accurate
- Prepare employment-related documents, reports, presentations, forms, letters, and other HR correspondence while ensuring accuracy and professionalism
- Act as a point of contact for employees HR related inquiries
- Assist with employee recognition programs, wellness initiatives, engagement activities, and other employee experience programs
- Support the coordination and administration of HR projects, programs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure strict confidentiality of employee information and adherence to company policies, procedures, and applicable legislation
- Remain current on HR legislation, employment standards, and HR best practices
YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or similar administrative HR role
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data quality, record management, and process compliance
- Experience maintaining employee records, processing HR transactions, and ensuring data integrity within HR systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS); experience with UKG/UltiPro is considered an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues proactively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organization
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
- Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn and grow within the HR profession
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to meet CGP requirements
