Responsibilities
- Perform haircuts, styling, coloring, and grooming services tailored to client preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering professional advice.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Upsell additional services or retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, checking clients in/out, and handling payments.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products through ongoing education.
- Assist with retail sales by recommending suitable hair care products to clients.
Experience
- Previous experience as a barber or stylist is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients.
- Knowledge of hair styling techniques, sanitation protocols, and current trends.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client consultations and team collaboration.
- Ability to perform retail sales and upselling to maximize client satisfaction and business growth.
- Experience working at the front desk or handling administrative tasks is a plus but not mandatory.
