Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Ensure proper food handling and storage practices are followed to maintain food safety.
- Assist in meal preparation for special events or large orders as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
- Follow all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques is essential.
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards is required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately are important for success in this role.
