Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Person for multifamily complex.
This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our facilities through routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative care. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot a variety of issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Conduct repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and other building infrastructure
- Maintain and service tools and equipment to ensure optimal functionality
- Assist with installation of new equipment or systems as needed
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs for reporting purposes
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Participate in scheduled preventative maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of equipment
Qualifications
- Experience in general maintenance, repair, or a related field
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical systems is highly desirable
- Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication with the manager
- Good communication skills for coordinating with other departments and reporting issues
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
