Overview:
We are seeking experienced and dependable Class 1A/3A Drivers to join our team immediately. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently across various routes. Multiple openings are available for qualified drivers who are ready to start promptly and contribute to our logistics operations. The ideal candidates will possess a strong safety record, excellent driving skills, and familiarity with heavy equipment operation. Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1A/3A commercial trucks to transport freight over designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety standards, and company procedures during transportation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting if required to ensure vehicle readiness
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and proper maintenance of assigned vehicles
Skills
- Valid Class 1A or 3A commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record
- Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or related machinery is a plus
- Knowledge of freight handling, loading/unloading procedures, and safety protocols
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and reliability
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and dispatchers
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments
