Part-Time Barista / Café All-Rounder

CAFE EIGHT is a busy specialty coffee shop located in the heart of downtown Calgary. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Barista / Café All-Rounder to join our team.

This position involves approximately 70% barista duties and 30% kitchen/food preparation duties.
Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso-based beverages, teas, matcha, and other specialty drinks with speed, consistency, and attention to detail.
- Deliver friendly, welcoming, and professional customer service at every interaction.
- Take customer orders and process payments using the Clover POS system.
- Prepare and serve light food items while following food safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace throughout each shift.
- Work efficiently during busy morning and lunch rushes while maintaining beverage quality and accuracy.
- Restock inventory and assist with opening and closing duties.
- Support teammates and contribute to a positive, respectful work environment.
- Take ownership of your responsibilities and help ensure smooth daily operations.
What We're Looking For
- Previous barista or café experience is preferred.
- Ability to communicate confidently in English.
- A genuine passion for customer service and hospitality.

- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with minimal mistakes.

Schedule
Part-Time- Monday & Tuesday
6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (or 3:30 PM)
