Job Description
Prio Auto Group is looking for an experienced Local Car Hauler Driver to transport vehicles between our Prio locations and other dealerships in the surrounding area.
This is a local driving position with regular weekday hours. The driver will be responsible for safely loading, securing, transporting, and unloading a variety of vehicles, including luxury, performance, and high-value vehicles.
Due to the value of the vehicles being transported, applicants must have extensive professional car-hauling experience.
Responsibilities
- Transport vehicles between Prio locations and other dealerships
- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles
- Handle luxury, performance, and high-value vehicles with exceptional care
- Inspect vehicles before pickup and after delivery
- Complete pickup and delivery paperwork accurately
- Perform daily inspections of the truck and trailer
- Report any vehicle damage, delays, or equipment concerns immediately
- Maintain professional communication with dealership staff
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized
- Follow all company safety procedures and transportation regulations
Requirements
- Extensive professional car-hauling experience is required
- Strong experience loading and unloading multiple vehicles
- Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the truck and trailer
- Clean and responsible driving record
- Strong knowledge of properly securing vehicles
- Comfortable handling luxury and expensive vehicles
- Reliable, punctual, careful, and professional
- Able to work independently and follow a daily transportation schedule
- Excellent attention to detail when inspecting vehicles
- Must treat all vehicles and equipment with care
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Local routes
- No overnight trips
- Home every evening
