Job Overview
We are seeking for a Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid forklift license / certification, experience driving mobile equipment (bobcat, load lifter, CAT, terrain forklift), and able to drive in bad weather conditions (snow, rain, wind, hot) *If your certification / training has expired, the company will pay for the re-certification / re-training *
Duties
- Move reels from the yard to outside
- Unload reels from trailers (dry van / flat deck)
- Load reels into trailer to ship to the customer
- Grade reels received by customer
- Kanban Inventory of Reels
- Load scrap reels to be hauled to landfill
- Report issues / problems with the forklift / equipment
- Remove snow when needed
- Unload row material (pallets, crates, flanges) for dry van
Qualifications
- Previous experience with mobile equipment is mandatory
- Experience driving in the snow and bad conditions is an asset
- Ability to understand written and oral instructions and SOP’s
- Punctuality, attendance and PPE are mandatory
- Attention to detail
- Ability to count
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and processes as needed.

- 8 hour shift (from 7 am to 3:30 pm)
