Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Food Preparation Worker to join our team. This role involves assisting in the preparation and serving of food in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, cooking, and food service, with a strong focus on meal preparation and kitchen operations. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills within the food industry while contributing to a positive dining experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including mixing, and assembling ingredients for meals
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food prep areas
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Support cooking activities by assisting chefs or kitchen staff during meal service
- Ensure all food is stored properly and inventory levels are maintained
- Adhere to food safety regulations and restaurant policies at all times
- Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment and utensils after use
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Experience with serving or customer service is a plus
- Food industry or restaurant experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
