Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and personable Hairstylist to join our vibrant salon team. This is a chair rental position and you will be self-employed and will be required to follow all of CRA guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty and customer service, with the ability to create stylish haircuts, color treatments, and styling that meet clients’ individual needs. Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, blowouts, and special occasion styling.
- Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client preferences and offering personalized recommendations.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all workstations and tools in compliance with health regulations.
- Assist clients at the front desk with scheduling appointments, check-ins, and payment processing.
- Upsell retail products such as hair care items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
- Stay current on industry trends and techniques through ongoing education and training sessions.
- Foster a friendly, professional atmosphere that encourages repeat business and positive reviews.
Requirements
- Licensed with the Cosmetology Association of New Brunswick
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon environment.
- Ability to upsell retail products tactfully while maintaining client trust.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, approachable demeanour

Pay: $15,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
