Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with automotive repair, and the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle issues. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive automotive repairs, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical systems
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and repair guides for accurate diagnostics
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment and mechanical expertise
- Assist with vehicle assembly and disassembly as needed for repairs or upgrades
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and addressing customer concerns professionally
Requirements
- Valid mechanic license or certification required
- Dealership experience preferred but not mandatory; relevant automotive repair experience is essential
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely (heavy lifting required) and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
- Experience with automotive maintenance, repair procedures, and assembly processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
Pay: From $42.00 per hour
