Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our Collision team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to various industrial equipment and structures, ensuring quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where mechanical knowledge, precision, and safety are paramount. Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed
- Operate spray guns, brushes, rollers, and other hand tools to apply paint or coatings
- Use power tools and hand tools to assemble or repair equipment prior to painting
- Utilize cranes or forklifts for moving large or heavy components safely
- Perform surface inspections to ensure proper coating coverage and quality standards
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Assist with welding or machining tasks when necessary as part of the finishing process
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste
- Conduct basic math calculations for measurements and mixing paint or coating materials
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, cranes, and forklifts
- Prior experience in manufacturing, machining, assembly, or related fields preferred
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and mixing ratios
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of surface preparation techniques and coating application methods

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
