We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team on a 50% commission basis. Duties
- Service Excellence: Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, highlights, blowouts, and special treatments tailored to client preferences.
- Client Consultation: Consult with clients to understand their desired look and provide expert recommendations.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in compliance with health regulations.
- Revenue Growth: Engage in upselling retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Operational Support: Manage appointment scheduling, check-in, and check-out processes at the front desk efficiently.
- Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with clients through excellent communication skills, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
- Atmosphere Maintenance: Assist with maintaining the salon’s overall appearance and organization to create an inviting atmosphere.
Requirements
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated success as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of work.
- Service-Oriented: Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients.
- Compliance: Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a salon environment.
- Communication: Strong verbal skills for effective consultation and team collaboration.
- Versatility: Previous experience working at the front desk or handling retail sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Professionalism: A reliable attitude and a passion for continuous learning in hair styling trends and techniques.
Note on Compensation: This position is paid as a 50% commission on all services rendered, offering high earning potential for stylists with a dedicated following or a drive to build their book.
