Naturopathic Doctor (ND) – Integrative Wellness & Aesthetics Squishy Skin Wellness – Surrey, BC
Squishy Skin Wellness is seeking a motivated and personable licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND) to join our brand-new multidisciplinary wellness centre in Surrey, BC. We are looking for an ND who is passionate about modern, integrative healthcare and is interested in working within a wellness-focused environment offering a combination of naturopathic medicine, preventative health, IV therapy, aesthetics, skincare, and other wellness services. This is an exciting opportunity for a practitioner who wants to build and grow their practice within a new wellness centre while working alongside other health, wellness, and aesthetic professionals. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, including review of health history, symptoms, lifestyle, nutrition, medications, supplements, and individual wellness goals.
- Develop personalized naturopathic and integrative treatment plans based on each patient's needs.
- Provide nutritional, lifestyle, supplement, and natural health recommendations where clinically appropriate.
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients on preventative health, wellness, nutrition, supplementation, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Provide or oversee Vitamin IV therapy and injectable nutrient treatments where permitted within the practitioner's scope of practice, training, and certification.
- Assess patients for appropriate IV protocols and ensure proper screening, documentation, monitoring, and follow-up
. - Experience with or an interest in Botox/neuromodulator treatments and medical aesthetics is considered a strong asset.
- Perform cosmetic injectable treatments where appropriately trained, certified, insured, and permitted under applicable professional requirements.
- Collaborate with other practitioners and wellness professionals to provide a coordinated patient experience.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential patient records in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Maintain high standards for patient safety, infection prevention, informed consent, and clinical professionalism.
- Stay current with developments in naturopathic medicine, IV therapy, preventative wellness, medical aesthetics, and integrative healthcare. Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing as a Naturopathic Doctor in British Columbia, or eligible for registration in BC.
- Appropriate professional liability insurance. - Strong clinical assessment and patient-care skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, reliable, organized, and patient-focused.
- Comfortable working independently as well as within a multidisciplinary wellness environment.
- Knowledge of Vitamin IV therapy, nutrient injections, supplementation, and integrative wellness is strongly preferred.
- IV therapy training/certification and relevant prescribing authority, where required, are considered strong assets.
- Botox/neuromodulator or cosmetic injectable training and experience is a major asset.
- An interest in medical aesthetics, skincare, preventative health, and overall wellness is preferred.
- Strong interest in developing and maintaining a long-term patient base.
