Job description:
Top Roof and Exteriors Inc. is looking for an experienced and motivated Service Foreman to lead our flat roofing service division across both commercial and residential projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day service operations, managing your crew, and ensuring every job is completed to the highest standard — on time and on budget. You'll be the go-to person on site, someone clients and management can count on to get the job done right. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise service crews on commercial and residential flat roofing projects
- Plan and manage daily work schedules, materials, and equipment
- Perform and oversee roof inspections, repairs, and maintenance (SBS, TPO, EPDM, BUR, gravel roofing)
- Conduct detailed site inspection reports and submit them to the Project Manager
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications
- Enforce health and safety practices on all job sites
- Communicate progress, findings, and updates directly with the Project Manager and clients
- Mentor and develop junior crew members
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial and residential flat roofing
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of flat roofing systems (SBS, TPO, EPDM, BUR, gravel roofing)
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and project specs
- Strong reporting and documentation skills
- Comfortable working at heights
- Valid driver's license (required)
- Reliable, organized, and solutions-oriented
