Our Red Deer facility is growing, and we are looking for reliable and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operators to join our day and afternoon shifts.

What You’ll Do
- Operate CNC lathes and/or milling machines to produce precision components.
- Load and unload parts, materials, and tooling.
- Follow established machine programs, setup instructions, work orders, and production procedures.
- Monitor machine operation and make basic tool-offset adjustments as required.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Identify and report quality concerns, machine issues, or process problems.
- Complete production and inspection records accurately.
- Assist with machine setups, tool changes, and routine maintenance as required.
- Work with machinists, supervisors, and quality personnel to meet production and quality requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company health, safety, and quality procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with CNC lathes and/or milling machines.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools, such as micrometers and calipers.
- Basic understanding of CNC controls, tooling, and machine offsets.
- Ability to consistently produce parts within specified tolerances.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely handle materials associated with the position.
- Availability to work either a day shift or an afternoon shift.
Preferred Assets
- Experience operating Mazak machines or similar CNC equipment.
- Familiarity with G-code and GD&T.
- Experience performing machine setups and tool changes.
- Forklift or overhead crane certification.
- Machining education, apprenticeship training, or related certification.
