Boutique Books & Co. is a modern bookkeeping and financial support firm based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We help entrepreneurs, professionals, and growing businesses stay organized, understand their numbers, and focus on growth.
We're looking for a creative storyteller who can help us build one of Atlantic Canada's strongest bookkeeping brands through engaging content, social media, and digital marketing.
About the Role
We're looking for someone who loves creating content, telling stories, and growing brands.
You'll work directly with the owner to plan, create, and publish content across multiple platforms while helping grow our online presence.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys creativity, marketing, photography, videography, and social media.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok content
- Film and edit short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
- Design graphics using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Write captions, blogs and marketing copy
- Photograph company events and behind-the-scenes content
- Maintain a monthly content calendar
- Assist with email marketing campaigns
- Update website content (Wix experience is an asset)
- Help plan marketing campaigns and promotions
- Brainstorm creative ideas with management
- Monitor analytics and recommend improvements
Qualifications
We're more interested in creativity and attitude than years of experience.
Ideal candidates will have experience with:
- Canva
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator or Premiere Pro)
- CapCut or similar editing software
- Social Media Management
- Photography
- Videography
- Copywriting
- Wix (an asset)
- SEO (an asset)
