Overview
We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators, Truck Drivers, and Labourers to join our team. These roles are vital to our operations, supporting the safe and efficient movement of materials, equipment, and products across various job sites. Ideal candidates will have experience operating heavy machinery, driving commercial vehicles, and performing manual labor tasks in a fast-paced environment. All positions are paid and open to both experienced professionals and interns eager to develop their skills in the industry.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and forklifts to perform site preparation, material handling, and construction tasks.
- Drive trucks and commercial vehicles to transport materials between locations safely and efficiently.
- Assist with loading and unloading quarry materials, ensuring proper handling and securing of loads..
- Support site activities by performing manual labor including digging, lifting, stacking, and cleaning work areas.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
Skills
- Proven experience (with at least 5 years' experience) operating heavy machinery such as excavators, or bulldozers.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record for truck driving roles.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy loads and working in outdoor conditions.
- Strong attention to safety procedures with a focus on accident prevention.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Candidates with relevant certifications or additional skills in heavy equipment operation or automotive repair will be highly valued. Pay: $17.00-$30.00 per hour
