Automotive parts manufacturing plant in Oldcastle now hiring for their afternoon shift. Job seekers must have experience in a production atmosphere. Ideally, working as a member of a team with good hand-eye coordination. Duties include:
- operate machines, load parts, unload formed pieces
- visually inspect parts, catalogue defects, alert Quality Department of concerns
- stand for extended periods, package parts and prepare labels for shipment
- please note that this is heavy work in a metal parts manufacturing facility which is loud & can also be very hot during the summer months
- must be able to speak, read and write English
Shift:
- steady afternoon shift - 3:30pm to 12:00am Monday to Friday
- occasional overtime
Transportation:
- own transportation is required
- not bus-route accessible
Wage:
- afternoon shift - $20.80/hr
Please note that this is a unionized facility so employees will have union dues and various union-related fees deducted from their pay as determined by their Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
