This role is responsible for supporting warehouse operations while providing hands-on technical inspection, repair, assembly, and servicing of Bottom Hole Pumps (BHPs) and Artificial Lift Systems (ALS). This hands-on role ensures the accurate receiving, handling, repair, storage, and delivery of inventory and equipment while maintaining high standards of quality, customer service, and safety. The position plays a key role in supporting customer operations by ensuring products are repaired, documented, and delivered accurately and on time, contributing to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
What you will bring:
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, pump repair, artificial lift systems, oilfield services, fabrication, or related industrial environments.
- Experience with Bottom Hole Pumps (BHPs), Artificial Lift Systems (ALS), and related equipment is preferred.
- Technical certification in a mechanical, industrial, or related field is considered an asset.
- Forklift certification is an asset.
- First Aid and H2S Alive certifications are considered assets.
- Experience reading technical manuals and equipment documentation is an asset.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of pump systems and repair processes.
- Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and test mechanical equipment.
- Ability to complete pump reports and accurately enter information into tracking systems.
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and customer requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to team success.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, shop equipment, and inventory systems.
- Ability to complete and pass pre-employment testing (Drug and alcohol).
What you will do:
- Perform all work safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established quality and safety standards.
- Provide professional, customer-focused service to internal and external customers.
- Receive, inspect, pick, process, ship, and deliver inventory and equipment accurately and on time.
- Operate and maintain warehouse tools, equipment, and forklifts as required.
- Tear down, inspect, repair, assemble, and test Bottom Hole Pumps (BHPs) and Artificial Lift System (ALS) components.
- Inspect pumps and components for corrosion, wear, pitting, and damage, and perform air testing and pump-out procedures.
- Complete pump reports, work orders, inventory documentation, and enter required information into tracking systems.
- Generate sales and service documentation related to repairs and customer requirements.
- Support inventory management, cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution.
- Handle customer inquiries, equipment pickups, and deliveries while following transportation and company procedures.
- Support artificial lift sales and material requirements as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop, warehouse, and yard environment.
- Ensure all materials, supplies, tools, and equipment are properly accounted for and maintained.
