The Rancho Maintenance - Condo Division is seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform maintenance tasks across condominium properties. This role involves ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and appearance of facilities through preventive and corrective maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance knowledge, along with leadership qualities to supervise and coordinate maintenance activities effectively.

Job Overview
Reporting to the Director & Senior Condominium Manager, as Rancho Maintenance, you will supervise building maintenance, repairs, and janitorial services to ensure the designated properties are safe, functional, and appealing.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance; using all equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspecting common areas including garbage facilities, recreation facilities, underground parkade, mechanical and electrical rooms to identify issues or problems and advise if any maintenance is required
- Program and update fobs (remote access key).
- Provide access to contractors/ vendors as required and directed by Property Manager
- Monitor building conditions and security (review security cameras as requested by property management).
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Providing on-call support in the event of emergencies.
- Ensuring tenants’ needs are accommodated with excellent customer service in accordance with corporate quality standards and procedures.
- Supervising maintenance staff, contractors, and trades to ensure that work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all site and regulatory codes.

- Good understanding of technology for apps on the cellphone as well as Microsoft Office.
Essential Requirements
- High School Diploma, or equivalent.
- Experience with maintaining building and mechanical systems, and basic handyperson skills.
- Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
- Physically able to kneel and crouch as well as lift, carry, push or pull objects.
- Valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle.

Work Conditions
You primarily work on various condos on-site during regular business hours. Work has exposure to noise from equipment/machinery and occupational hazards, as well as dealing with inclement weather and dust. Overtime may occasionally be required. On call rotation with the other Rancho Maintenance employee.
Pay: $58,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
