Job Overview
WESI is seeking a skilled Electronic Service Technician on behalf of a Client to support the inspection, maintenance, and servicing of specialized electronic and mechanical equipment. This is a hands-on opportunity for individuals who enjoy technical work, thrive in fast-paced environments, and have strong attention to detail.
This is a 12-month contract, Monday - Friday, 100% on site schedule, with the potential to transition into a permanent full-time position based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, clean, service, and maintain specialized electronic and mechanical equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on shop equipment and tools.
- Follow detailed work instructions, procedures, and quality checklists to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electronic schematics, and technical documentation.
- Support inventory management and material handling activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in workplace safety programs and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Experience using common hand tools such as torque wrenches, multimeters, power supplies, and similar equipment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow standardized procedures and work instructions.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electronic schematics.
- Experience servicing or repairing electronic equipment.
- Soldering experience.
- Experience with inventory control or equipment maintenance.
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new technical processes.
