Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Lounge Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services in a relaxed lounge environment, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with strong communication and time management skills. The Lounge Server will play a key role in creating a positive environment for our guests, promoting upselling opportunities, and ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are upheld.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures comply with health regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the lounge area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Assist with basic food preparation or setup as needed for the lounge environment
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, concerns, or special requests promptly
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Experience in serving, cashiering, or hospitality roles is preferred
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing tabs
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue generation

Pay: $17.60-$28.99 per hour
