Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and facilities to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks according to scheduled plans to extend equipment lifespan.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate repairs and minimize operational disruptions.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment or systems as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc., as well as power tools like drills, grinders, and saws.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams for repairs and maintenance procedures.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to machinery repair and facility maintenance.
- Prior experience with preventive maintenance programs is preferred but not required.
