Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team immediately. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and public areas to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for all visitors. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in hospitality, custodial work, or industrial cleaning to contribute to a high-quality guest experience. Prior hotel or custodial experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and according to established standards
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies responsibly and effectively
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial services, or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork
- Prior hospitality or custodial experience will be considered an asset but is not mandatory; training will be provided for all new hires
Pay: From $24.76 per hour
