Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Advisor, who is looking to grow their career, and help manage day to day operations in our automotive service department. You will have a customer focused, can-do attitude. You will take care of our guests from the moment they arrive, ensuring our Hyundai guests have a memorable and seamless experience with your attention to detail, and ability to go the extra mile.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule customer vehicle service appointments
- Greet guests and check-in vehicles to the Service Department for their scheduled appointment, perform walk around at check in.
- Liaise with technicians to ensure proper work flow
- Maintain and develop an excellent customer experience and relationships
- Be able to multi-task maintaining a high quality of service
- Create work orders with accurate information
- Experience in upselling services and products to enhance customer satisfaction
- Provide a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts when required
- Contact customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time frame, explain cost and time requirements in detail
- Keep service department forms, menus and pricing guides up-to-date
- Explain completed work and any/all charges to customers
- Follow Brand and Company policies, procedures and service standards
- Maintain high customer satisfaction standards
- Attend and remain current with brand training
- Confirm warranty coverage for any warrantable repairs, prepare warranty claims and submit (final close repair invoices).
Who you are:
- 2+ years experience in a dealership service advisor role is preferred
- Experience working with a luxury brand is preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Familiarity with sales techniques related to automotive services
- Keen to immerse yourself in high-end training with Hyundai
- Outgoing & a strong desire to serve people
- A positive attitude & always smiling
- Flexible Schedule
- Great organizational & computer skills
- Must be able to reliably commute to the dealership
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Full Driver’s License
Nice to haves:
- Reynolds (ERA) and Dealer FX knowledge is considered an asset
- Familiarity with FCPP, Diamond Kote, IA and LGM extended warranty platforms
- Experience with ICBC Claims
