We are looking for a full-time or part time, permanent field service technician to join our close-knit team in the Timmins and surrounding area. Technician would be working on various brands and types of small to large office equipment in a fast-paced environment. Job is Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm. (40hrs per week)
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Troubleshooting and repairing of various electromechanical assemblies and equipment.
- Install/set up, testing, delivering, new equipment and removing old equipment.
- Completing specialized training (employer provided).
- Operating stair climbers (training provided).
- Updating software/firmware on equipment.
- Keeping work areas and vehicles clean (sweeping/organizing).
- Completing work orders and filling out paperwork.
- Delivering supplies to various locations in the Timmins and surrounding areas.
Applicant must possess:
- High school diploma.
- Valid drivers license.
- Exceptional work ethic with attention to detail and willingness to work with others.
- Good mechanical, troubleshooting, communication and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Timmins and surrounding area (vehicle supplied).
- Bondable, criminal record check required.
- Computer knowledge and networking skills.
- Passion for technology (hardware/software).
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $37,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year
